Delayed Writers Block

Currently I have a problem as to where I want to use this blog. In many respects, I would love to be a writer. I feel attracted to reading the about individuals who float around the country meeting new people and exposing themselves to new and exciting things. I would love to follow suit, but I have a steady (and heavily protected) job, which makes it a problem. Also, I don't know if I have it in me to actually go forth and actually produce something credible worth reading.

So that's is one of the things buzzing in my head about how to approach writing in this blog. Would I like to use this as a tool to showcase some of my writings? Yes, but I don't want to overdo this and have this become something of a grandiose self-gratifying machine. Believe me, there is nothing worse than reading someone's self important "masterpiece". My mind drifts immediately reading blogs, and I am sure yours does too. That is why the "short and precise" method seems to work best with me, treating it like a James Frey tale.

So I don't know where I am going with this. I need to read a whole lot more. I need to get out there and actually write.

I am off to Los Angeles for a week. Hopefully I can kick start this whole thing.
